Halloween Quick and Easy Costume Ideas!

It's Halloween! Are you ready?  We’ve put together a few of our favourite quick and simple ideas for that last minute costume idea.

Some of the best costumes are the simplest. Dressing up like a classic actress or actor can be fun. It's all about make-up and a good wig for costumes.

Marilyn Monroe: red lipstick and bedroom eye lashes with liquid liner

 Twiggy: dramatic liner, lower lashes drawn on and a pale lip

Charlie Chaplin: bowler hat and moustache

Even Disney Characters are fun! Elsa is the most popular costume for Halloween go for sparkly frosted make-up and a bold lip

Purchase basic face paint and use regular make-up brushes. Or get creative with unused eye-liners, shadow or lipstick and create a fun masquerade mask.It's all about having fun and being creative!  Finish off your make up with a translucent powder to set your face for the day or night.

An Evening of Fashion on the Boulevard

On Wednesday, September 10^th Uptown hosted the hottest event of the season!  Our fashion stores and community partners came together to celebrate the top fall fashion and home trends while raising money for the Cops for Cancer and Tour de Rock.

The Do's for wearing harem pants

The soft silk harem pant continues to be fashion forward this summer. A relaxed style available in a multitude of prints and fabrics, the harem pant is right on trend!   It can be an intimidating style but rest assured there is a style and fit for everyone.

Here’s some do’s for styling your harem pant:

•  Tuck it in and define your waist
