like grey and black, navy and charcoal, or cream and white. The result will be
less dramatic and easier to layer with other colours and textures.

PRO
TIPS to keep in mind...
- When mixing patterns, choose one pattern as the prominent print, while others play supporting roles and compliment the main pattern and colour tones.
- If you want to distract from an area on your body choose a solid, then pair it with a pattern in the area you want to show off. For example if you have a thicker torso, try a pattern pant or straight skirt paired with a solid top or jacket that meet right in the middle of your tummy. The BIGGEST MISTAKE people make is stretching a solid coloured top all the way down and over their tummy.
- By bisecting the body at the widest part of the midsection, the tummy can be camouflaged and a waist will be created.
